'Toorak Connection'

The project brief to modernise a stately interwar period Toorak residence was achieved in collaboration with SJB and Paul Bangay garden designer.  Wholesale internal, external and landscape form was remodelled to deliver a contemporary, timeless design aesthetic.  An enclosed connection structure was created linking the garage with the residence, its form emphasising expressed, fine linear design contrasting the form of the dwelling and highlighting contemporary design twists.

The striking black and white colour theme is playfully and elegantly considered throughout each zone with bold application of natural marble stone, asymmetric bespoke steel elements and heavy use of oak joinery ensuring the result honours the prestige of the property.
